Soundcloud is ending their beta test, which means that if I want to keep using the pro version, then I have to dish out some duckets, and since I’m saving all my money for my vacation in two weeks, Soundcloud will get no cash from this guy. So to say goodbye to the pro version, I decided to actually check the SC inbox, and when I did, I found a bunch of electro tracks from a bunch of new artist from all over the country. I’ve sort of stopped listening to electro recently, but it was kind of fun to listen to a bunch of it again. It’s like picking a nasty scab…..you know you shouldn’t, but for some reason, you just can’t help yourself. So listen to some of this electro stuff…….First, we have The Viking from Richmond, VA, coming at us with a remix of an Akon track. It’s a good remix, I can see it getting a crowd of people to near riot status on the dance-floor. I also got a nice original track from Oh Shit!, a production duo from L.A., who take the west coast electro sound, and add a little bmore nastiness to it. (Not in the actually bmore break sense, but more in the overall attitude.) Finally, I’ve got a remix of a Yuksek track from Austin, TX based Prepmode. I think this is the first time I’ve covered both coasts, plus Texas, all in the same post.
