I’m still out in Cali, and I made it up to Hollywood last night to check out the Rye Rye show at Cinespace…..which was dope. It was a really short set, but the energy and the venue were great, plus they played a nice cover of Paper Planes..the backup dancers were killing it….sweaty as fuck…..I was a little bummed though because M.I.A. was rumored to make an appearance, but I can understand her not wanting to steal any of the shine from Rye’s big night……but there was a special appearance by Blaqstarr….and the door guy was from bmore….shit was good.
