Sorry for the little break there, but I was partying in desert all last weekend, and honestly didn’t have three minutes to spare to write a blog post. For those who missed it, Coachella once again delivered an excellent party, and a great way to stamp out a few of those extra brain cells. Highlights for me were: watching Ghostland Observatory absolutely slay it on Friday, Sir Paul (didn’t catch much of his set, but it’s Sir Paul, and it was cool to see him in person.), M.I.A. rocked the main stage with Blaqstarr and Rye Rye, MSTRKFT bringing out John Legend to close their set, the Presets fucking killing it, Peanut Butter Wolf scratching David Lee Roth videos, I’m pretty sure I watched the Chemical Brothers but have little recollection of it, rocking out to Groove Armada, and how can I leave out Etienne De Crecy……..impeccable DJ set. While not at the show, I spent my down time spinning records at the house a bunch of us rented and basically partying like a rock star….So thanks to everyone who helped make this past weekend so fucking good…I hope you are all recovering nicely……………..Oh here’s some free tunes from the good folks over at Eenie Meenie Records, it’s a couple remixes from their band Wallpaper.
