I try not to spend too much time posting on big, mainstream acts, but occasionally I come across something that really gets me excited…It’s a pretty rare occurrence for me to get hyped up about big label bands. Franz Ferdinand recently released an album of Dub tracks called “Blood”, and it’s really sparked my curiosity. Produced by Mr. Dan, a protege of dub legends, Mad Professor and “Scratch” Perry, it contains 9 dub re-works off their latest album. As a promo, they sent over this Trentemoller remix of their latest single. It’s just the radio edit…short and sweet. The full version clocks in at over 7 minutes, and might just get a piece of my paycheck this afternoon.
