I’m really good about checking my email fairly frequently, my girl says I do it at an OCD rate. Today I neglected checking it until about 30 minutes ago, but was happily surprised to find two new remixes from Starks and Nacey (Nouveau Riche). They had been sitting there for the past two hours, so hopefully I can get this post up before everybody else catches on to how good this stuff is. Nacey does a serious number on the La Roux track, “Bullet Proof” that will surely get any party started correctly. Excellent work on the drum programming, with a killer string section that complements the vocal very nicely. Steve Starks turns it up a few notches with his re-work of the classic Armand Van Helden song “Witch Doktor”. This one is heavy as hell, and will no doubt blow the fucking walls of any venue that experiences this track making its way through their sound system. Submarine horns….you just can’t really fuck with them.

P.S. Just got this track in from Nouveau Riche’s Gavin Holland. It’s a wild original piece entitled “Damn” and I think it has a very good chance of starting an absolute riot on the dancefloor.
