I’ve always been a big fan of Montreal-based Dancehall/World Craziness Producer extraordinar, Ghislain Poirier.  I guess for his new EP, he’s going by Poirier, which is entirely fine by me, as long as he keeps coming with this fire.  All four of the tracks are great, my favorite being “Trust None of Dem”, which features Burru Banton.  The third word in the track in track is “frenemy”, which I can’t help but love.  Its got a classic dancehall back beat, but with a futuristic synth line that takes this one up a notch…..especially with all the recycling of riddims that goes on in this genre.
