Some new tracks off the new EGADZ! record hit my inbox this morning. It’s psychedelic Techno at a Hip Hop pace, something to be expected from an artist who cut his teeth working with a number of eclectic MC’s — Aesop Rock and Kool Keith to name a few. “Going Home” has a nice back beat, accented with some melodic, electro synth lines. It has a great techno build-up, while still maintaining a well structured Hip Hop sensibility. The second track, “Glock Out” is my favorite of the two. Fuzzy bass-line, and muffled kick drums. This track will nod the heads of hipsters and hip-hop-heads, alike. His new album “Egadz is Dead” drops September 15th…go get it.
