This one comes from Portland’s Yacht, with a little help from New Jersey MC, Kosha Dillz. Its got a funky indie electronic beat with a nice little bounce to it, definitely a fun end to the summer track. Pretty familiar with Yacht, but this is the first time that I’ve come across anything from Kosha Dillz. From what I heard so far I’m excited to listen to more.

The original track by Yacht is lyrically really strong compared with Kosha’s lyrics. I also feel like this is another case where someone takes a really great track, and attempts to popularize it. (and in some cases succeeds. Reminds me of Kanye’s version of Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. It pales in comparison to the original.
