I like Halloween, but I never can seem to come up with a great costume — oh, I’ve had some good ones, but never any that will win any sort of door prize.  Time to step my game up because Junior Boys are embarking on their Fall North American Tour in a few weeks, and have decided to make it one giant Halloween party — door prizes for best costume included.  They rock Baltimore’s, Sonar, on October 30th– which is there only Mid-Atlantic gig of the tour — so I’m sure it will be one giant, sweaty mess of costumed mayhem — plus the drinks are cheaper than in Philly or DC, so add drunken mess to the previous list of descriptions.  They’ve sent over a nice mellow remix of “Work” done by Prins Thomas…and I like the approach he’s taken.  Simple acoustic guitar riffs, over a mellow, but steadily building back beat…not a floor burner by any means, but funky enough to keep the kids in the back seat of the car nodding their heads the entire drive home.
