Today, I’ve got a wild tech-funk track from London-based, Meat Katie. I’ve heard a lot DJ’s and producers try and fit Sublime samples in their tracks, and almost every single one has failed miserably. Meat Katie, aka Mark Pember, takes a reggae splashed vocal from Bradley Nowell, drops it over some brain dancing beats, and gives this track a unique sound that can only be described as wildly infectious — and we’re talking wipe-out-half-a-continent-viral-disease infectious. Its a battle between breaks, funk, house, techno — a little bit of everything tossed in the mix, but each piece allowed to shine in their own right and not overpower each other. The full “Tension EP” , now available for trade of your hard earned skrilla over at Beatport, has three other original tracks on it that are just as good as this one, so go pick it up. Meat Katie is also traveling the globe in the next few months, so there’s a good chance you can catch him live on the decks sometime in the near future.

Woohoo! This brightened the gutter right up after having to fire my booty call last night!
Oh, and the visual pleasure reminds my of the weird lab freaks I work with…Now we know how Krump got started.
I love krumping….I try to do it as much as possible.
Yes, I’ve seen your moves. That’s why you, like the producer of this video are “Geden Bitches.”
