Relation have a lot going for them.  Their music stands out from the throngs of “wha wha wha, grah grah grah” music that shows up so often in my mailbox.  Not to complain or anything, I’m into a good “wha wha wha, grah, grah grah” every know and again, but the over saturation of this “fidget-electro-peakhour-house-dub-break-indie-remix-redux-refix” genre is beginning to wear out my ears.  Its nice to get a track that takes the opposite path and incorporates atmospheres and melodies into a song in an accessible way.  Kids gotta dance, for sure, but they don’t always have to bang their heads and pump their fists — although a good fist pumping never hurt anyone.  I don’t want to call this electronic “pop” music, although it has some definite pop elements to it; but in only the most affectionate terms of the word.  If your into it as much as I am, you can pick up the release here.
