This one almost slipped through the cracks….which is a little surprising considering I’ve covered both of these artists in the past.  Troublemaker puts quite a spin on this Pete Lawrie track…adding a nice little string line and some clever contrasting synth work.  Its short…only 3 minutes or so…but its a perfect track to drop early in a DJ set or used as a transition piece to get the party going…Troublemaker always takes an innovative approach to his remixes — and what I really like about them is the way he incorporates multiple elements from different genres of music, keeping the sound fresh — A little bit of house, some hip hop, dub. Its tough to stick a label on his tracks…..and that’s a very good thing.
