The people behind Output Noise Records have been on a tear lately, putting out some of the most interesting dance music I’ve heard over the past year…I know its a steep thing to say, but in the last few months they’ve become one of my favorite local labels — This latest single from Philly-based, Benjamin Runyan, aka, City Rain, cements this belief, proving itself yet another stellar release  — “These Days” is a combination of catchy pop melodies and intelligent tech-house sounds — its the best of both worlds — but what really stands out on this track is the guitar work heading into the bridge…..loving it.  Head over to Bandcamp, preview the record and pickup a digital copy right now…its got all kinds of fun remixes…(I’m into the one by Outputmessage…but then again, I’m pretty much into anything done by Outputmessage these days….no pun intended….for real) Here’s a video interview with Ben, just in case you feel the need to dig deeper….
