Dmerit were one of the first people to reach out to me in the DC music scene, and not only are they incredibly awesome people, they’re also extremely talented producers.  Their tracks “Stuck On You” and “Girls and Make Up” are still two of my favorite’s to come out of anywhere in the last year….And so I was thrilled to hear about the remix EP for the two tunes….Will Eastman’s remix has been featured on RCRD LBL and made that guy Tiesto’s blog..and Dmerit’s own re-work of “Stuck On You” is a cosmic mash of the two tunes that I can’t wait to let loose on a dance floor..You can grab the full release over on itunes, bandcamp, and turntable lab….Nice work fellas!….Highly recommended.

Beatpunks take on the the Crystal Vision track, “Mouser” and succeed tremendously…Look out for the new single from Crystal Vision, “Pickled Beets” dropping in February…..I love the mouse/lion sound on this one….fantastic.

I really enjoy this Tech-House rework of Throbbing Gristle’s classic jam, “Hot On The Heals of Love” by Eskimo Twins…Clever synth work and great build ups…really puts a nice flip on an already fantastic track.

Dream Cop, the moniker for Blacksburg, VA based multi-instrumentalist, Tommy Davidson, just released his first EP, “Basement Tapes”, on Output Noise Records…The 5 song EP is layered with interesting harmonies, dark beats and just the right amount of tension…It makes for a really fantastic listening experience.  You can grab the extended mix of the track “Warm Thrash”, plus an Outputmessage remix of “Basement Tapes” below…and if you’re feelin’ it  buy the full release here….
