Got a banging progressive house track for you folks today….Its from ABX & Samson Lewis and features Miss Autumn Leaves on the diva, and Polysonic 5 on remix duties.  For me, its a nice change from the stuff that I’ve been listening to lately.  With some great vocals, slick production and a killer beat, this is a sure-fire bet to get the people moving.  You can cop the full release here.

Machine Electrique brings the techno back on this classic Portishead track.  Its minimalist…but with enough going on to create a really nice groove to an already fantastic track.  The two producers that make up the group, Benjamin Vial and Dominic ‘Zuul’ Mayer, hail from France and Wales, and their first EP, Projet 001, will be released on Circuit Freq Records. I have a feeling this track will be making many appearances in my upcoming DJ sets….Highly recommended.

Portishead – “Glory Box” (Machine Electrique Projet)

The Young Punx latest effort takes their new record and gives it the mash-up treatment from the Audioporn Allstars…Its a great way to revisited the album…or to get acquainted with it, if you haven’t already.  You can download the entire joint for free here. As a bonus they’ve included some origami album art…and who the fuck doesn’t like a good origami session…Plus some video artists have done a few of the tracks over for the full audio/video mash-up experience. Here is my favorite track off the new release…B.A.R.T.O. gives the Punx a nice dosage of N.E.R.D.
